About Me

I began performing in theatre in the 6th grade after my dad told me I should find something to do with my time that I truly enjoyed.  I had been in competitive cheering and my dad noticed there was too much needless drama in cheering and told me that I should consider engaging in a more productive form of drama. He told me of numerous relatives who had been in theatre that enjoyed the experience so I decided I would go for it.  I think secretly my parents were happy I had found something that did not require frequent travel to competitions. In school, I had always loved making video presentations to show in front of the class and I found that performing in front of people was even more rewarding and made me feel more confident. Moving onto college I found myself majoring in musical theatre freshman year and changing my path Sophomore year after I took a photography class and chose to do self-portraits for my final project. The project received excellent feedback and I was told I should build a modeling portfolio. It was never in my head until that moment, but I decided I would make an effort to try new things. I fell in love with my project and felt that modeling might be an attainable career.
